100 Black Men of Austin, Inc. members Karl Spencer, Kevin Cokley, and a number of community leaders throughout Texas testified last November in support of implementing the African American Studies curriculum in Texas high schools. We’re proud to say, it was approved today by a unanimous vote!

Texas Empowerment Academy needed 40 computers for students during COVID 19. The 100, Amherst Holdings LLC, and other community leaders collaboratively raise $12,000 to purchase Chromebooks.
